“On this Journey to the past”
Her past is a mystery. Her future is an adventure. From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as "Ragtime" and "Once On This Island" and based on the 1997 animated film, "Anastasia", this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.
Who we are at Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions
“Performing Arts on a Mission”
You are why we are here! Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions exists as an extension of the desire we have at Christ Wesleyan Church to reach out to our community. We believe that God blesses every artist with their gifts and talents. We hope through our theatre program everyone involved finds a positive, creative, family-friendly environment where they can cultivate their skills. It is our desire to bring delight and awe to our community through our performances. By delivering excellent theatre to the area, we seek to build a bridge between the community and the church. Theatre has a special way of turning strangers into family. We pray our theatre is as much of a blessing to you as we work towards delivering incredible performances to our community.
To that end, we strive to build excellent shows. Many hours of labor go into making our shows possible. We expect all those who join us in the cast and crew to work hard with us while maintaining positive relationships with each other. We work hard to ensure that our rehearsals and performances are a safe place to connect with others and expect everyone involved to contribute to that atmosphere.
