The Secret Garden: The Musical
A magical story of love, family, and healing.
Based on the classic children’s story from Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox. When her parents pass away from the cholera epidemic in India, Mary is taken in by her reclusive uncle Archibald and his disabled son Colin. The gothic estate of his Yorkshire home bears the shadow of haunting loss, but as Mary explores her new home, she finds herself drawn to a mysterious and magical secret garden, long abandoned by Archibald in the wake of losing his wife. This play tells the heart-wrenching and beautiful tale of finding hope and renewal in the face of grief. With a score filled with haunting melodies and lovely themes by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon, The Secret Garden is sure to become a new favorite at CWTP.
The Secret Garden The Musical comes to the stage in November 12 - 14.

You are why we are here! Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions exists as an extension of the desire we have at Christ Wesleyan Church to reach out to our community. We believe God uniquely blesses every performer, crew member, and volunteer with gifts. We hope through our theatre program everyone involved finds a positive, creative, family-friendly environment where they can cultivate their skills.
Our desire is to bring theatrical experiences that delight and awe our audiences, while building a meaningful bridge between the community and the church. Theatre has a special way of turning strangers into family. We pray our theatre is a blessing to all who take part on stage, backstage, or in our audience.
We believe excellence honors God and serves our community. Therefore, we strive to build excellent shows. Many hours of labor go into making our shows possible. We expect all those who join us to share in that commitment while fostering healthy, encouraging relationships. We work with great intentionality to ensure that our rehearsals and performances are a safe, welcoming spaces for connection, creativity, and collaboration for all involved.
