Frequently asked questions

  • Are all of these songs solos?

    • No - some songs will be duets or feature groups. You may sing one of the songs that features multiple voices for your audition. Based on your audition, we may ask you to sing in a duet or group in the concert.

  • If I audition for a certain song, is that the song I will sing in the concert?

    • Generally, yes. Based on your audition, we may ask you to sing a different song in the concert.

  • Will I be portraying a certain character on the stage?

    • Due to copyright agreement, we are not permitted to portray the characters originally depicted in the song. This includes dialogue, choreography, and costumes seen in the original film. This is a concert, not a production, so you will essentially playing yourself singing the songs.

  • Will I be wearing a character costume for the concert?

    • If you have been cast in the show, you will be responsible for putting together your costume for the show. We will give you guidance on what things to look for. Generally, we will be going for a Disney bounding style for our costumes. This style uses present day, currently available clothing that shares colors, shapes, patterns, or styles with a certain character to evoke that character.

  • What is the rehearsal schedule for the concert?

    • Tuesday and Thursday nights, beginning two weeks before the concert - 2/10, 2/12, 2/17, 2/19

    • Dress Rehearsal - 2/20

    • Rehearsals are not optional. If you have any schedule conflicts with these dates before you submit your audition, please note those conflicts on your audition form.

  • Are there ages ranges for who can audition?

    • All ages are welcome to audition! We recommend that ages 12 and older to audition. Parents/guardians will be expected to sign the audition form for all minors. If a child is selected for the show, we recommend that parents/guardians be present at rehearsals. Teens/Children will be expected to be present at all rehearsals and have transportation arranged to do so.
