We are excited for our upcoming 2026 season and for the chance to work with others that have the unique skills to bring a show together. Directors bring a special vision and relational leadership to the theater process.

Our 2025 season represented a new era for Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions in that it was the first time that we worked with directors outside of our organization. We are thrilled by the idea of working with new faces in our upcoming season.

If you are interested in directing one of our 2026 shows, this page is for you!

How to apply

If you are interested in becoming a director for our 2026 season, here is some important information.

  • All director and assistant director positions for our shows are unpaid, volunteer positions.

  • Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions is first and foremost a ministry of Christ Wesleyan Church. As such, it operates differently than many other community theatre organizations. We seek to reach others through the arts to build a bridge between the local church and our community.

  • We do not require our directors to be members of Christ Wesleyan Church or even church attenders at all. We do ask that any who serves as a director or assistant director for us to respect our Code of Conduct and to lead with the values of that code of conduct in mind.

Once you are ready, the process is as follows.

  1. Please read the Code of Conduct linked below. If you need more information about our theatre or Christ Wesleyan Church, follow the links below to find more information.

  2. Fill out the form linked below. Many of the field in the form are required fields.

  3. Allow us time to review all submissions. We will be reviewing your submission with great care. Completing your form does not guarantee any response from us. If we feel we require more information from you after completion of your form, we may reach out over email or phone. Our team may schedule a meeting with you to ensure you are a good fit for our show.
