Our History

Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions has been in existence in some form since 1992, but has undergone some significant changes over the years. What began as a special choir presentation with drama in 1992 led by Keith Tyler (Christ Wesleyan Church’s first Worship Pastor), has developed into a Broadway-style theatrical ministry. In 2004, we added a Concert Series division which hosts artists who contribute to our mission goals. In 2012, we took the biggest turn, opening auditions to anyone from the community to participate. Since then, we have focused solely on wowing with performance at a Broadway level, but surprising people with God’s love. Our heart is to always highlight the Arts, but in the context of a much bigger mission.
